AIRMAN LEADERSHIP SCHOOL (ALS)
The Cannon Airman Leadership School's mission is to prepare Senior Airmen to be professional, war fighting Airmen who can supervise and lead Air Force work teams to support the employment of Air, Space and Cyberspace power.
OBJECTIVES
To develop enlisted leaders with the moral framework of integrity, service,and excellence. To instill in Airmen a warrior ethos, an expeditionary mindset, and a passion for leading in the cause of freedom. To produce leaders skilled in critical thinking and analysis.
CORE VALUES AND DEFINITIONS
Integrity First - Integrity is a character trait. It is the willingness to do what is right even when no one is looking. It is the "moral compass"-the inner voice; the voice of self-control; the basis for the trust imperative in today's military. Includes traits: Courage, honesty, responsibility,accountability, justice, openness, self-respect and humility. Service Before Self - Professional duties take precedence over personal desires. At the very least, it includes the following behaviors: Rule following, respect for others, discipline, self-control, and faith in the system.
Excellence In All We Do - Directs us to develop a sustained passion for the continuous improvement and innovation that will propel the Air Force into a long-term, upward spiral of accomplishment and performance. Includes: product/service excellence, personal excellence, community excellence,resources excellence, and operations excellence.
