The Fitness & Sports Center is the place to go for all your fitness needs. Offered year-round is an active and diversified program that strives to meet the mental and physical needs of all participants. Those associated with the military, whether active duty, retired, family members, DoD or contract employees may take advantage of the recreational activities available at the Fitness & Sports Center.


Fitness Classes

The class schedule is located to the right.  Classes are subject to change without notice.  Call the Fitness Center for inquiries, 784-2466.


Boot Camp      This class provides a full body workout. Improves strength, cardio, flexibility, agility, and endurance. You'll be guided through functional exercises to challenge you like never before. All fitness levels welcome!


High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)     Use the entire gym and many different workout techniques for a full body workout.  Build lean muscles and increase cardiovascular strength through bodyweight and weight training with high bursts of cardio.


30 Min Abs     This quick class helps sculpt abdominal muscles and teach the fundamentals of building a strong core with strength and conditioning workouts.


Cardio Cycling    Students perform vigorous cardio exercise with the stationary spinning bikes using different biking positions to ensure a challenging exercise experience.  This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen one’s heart and overall fitness.


Combat-Fit Fundamentals   This is a mandatory class for patrons to gain access to the combat-fit pad. This course will enlighten students of the “combat-fit exercise lifestyle.”  Combat-Fit Fundamentals teaches safe and proper use of all equipment used on the exercise pad.  Upon completion of this course, students will be awarded a card which will give them access to the exercise pad.


Combat-Fit     This is a strength and conditioning program with the intent of

improving, among other things, cardiovascular/respiratory endurance,

stamina, strength, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and

accuracy. It advocates a perpetually varied mix of aerobic exercise,

gymnastics (body weight exercises), and Olympic weight lifting. Expect

constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity across

broad modal and time domains. Note: You must have completed Combat-Fit

Fundamentals before participating in this class.


Yoga     For our customers, yoga can be a pursuit to a toned and flexible body, or an entirely new way of living. Overall, yoga is an entire mind/body workout.  A yoga mat, block, and strap are needed in order to participate in this class. Please note, all of these items may be checked out at the Fitness Center front desk or patrons may bring their own.


Facility & Equipment

Selectorized Equipment Room   Contains state-of-the-art non-plated weight machines.


Free-Weight Room   Consists of multiple plate loaded based equipment, cross over machine, flat, incline and decline benches.


Basketball Court   The basketball court at the Fitness Center consists of three open play courts, one Varsity/ Intramural court, and two volleyball courts


Racquetball/Wallyball Court   There are two racquetball courts available for patron use.  One court is a dedicated challenge court, whereas the second court is an interchangeable racquetball and wallyball court.  All equipment for racquetball may be checked out at the front desk.


Family Room   This is a family friendly workout environment for parents to exercise while their children play in a safe environment.  This room consists of cardio and strength equipment. Overall, this room has every workout essential mom or dad may need.  Read more.


Locker Rooms/Saunas   The Fitness Center provides DAILY USE ONLY lockers.  Both locker rooms are equipped with saunas.  Locks may be checked out at the Fitness Center front desk.


Multipurpose Room   This room is spacious for an array of activities.  The Multipurpose Room comes equipped with stability balls, light weights, jump ropes, resistance bands, and TRX mounts.  Also, there are televisions and a DVD player provided for customers who wish to use their own exercise media.  Toe bars are also located in this room.


Cardio Room   The cardio room consists of an extensive collection of cardio based equipment to include cross-trainers, treadmills, bikes, rock climbing wall and a Jacob’s ladder.  Patrons may tune in to one of twelve HD televisions on selected machines.


Combat Fit Pad   The Combat Fit Pad is designed with the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.  The Combat Fit Pad program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive--not specializing in any one specialty.


TRX   TRX is suspension training bodyweight exercises that develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously


Softball Fields   The softball field consists of two, natural grass fields with home and away bleachers.


Track and Field   The track and field offers a state of the art turf field, perfect for flag football, soccer, and PT training.  Weighted sleds are also available for patron use on the field.  It surrounded by a six lane track.



Intramural sports are a great way to stay fit and start new friendships.  The following intramural sports are offered at the Fitness & Sports Center on base:

          - Basketball (Winter)

          - Volleyball (Spring)

          - Softball (Summer)

          - Football (Fall)


Individuals wanting to play at a varsity level, must compete to be on the team. Roster sizes are limited and all participants must be at least 18 years old to tryout.  The following varsity sports are offered at the Fitness & Sports Center on base:

          - Men's Softball

          - Women’s Softball

          - Men's Basketball

          - Women’s Basketball

          - Co-ed Volleyball

          - Soccer
